About

We can and want to help

We  know that finding the right financial professional to guide you is a choice not to be taken lightly. Whatever your lifestyle wants or financial goals require, we ask the questions that others don't, listen to your concerns and wants, and develop individualized solutions for you, your family, or your business. We understand that there are other financial professionals for our potential clients to choose from, and because of this, we want our clients to be materially better off because they are choosing to do business with us.

Shawn M. Wyatt, CFP®, CRPC®

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠, what Shawn has found is that even the smartest people (Executives, PhDs, engineers, etc.) make small, consistent mistakes and assumptions with their finances during their working career and leading up to retirement.  Over time, these mistakes (if left unchecked) can cost you untold thousands of dollars in excess taxes, fees, and opportunity cost which can eventually cause your financial well-being to become "out of balance."  By taking a proactive, holistic approach to a client's financial life, Shawn can help them get the right answers to their questions before problems arise.  What Shawn offers his clients is the feeling that comes with knowing at least one corner of your life is squared away for the long haul.  Less stress, less worries, and more security.

Shawn has lived in central Kansas all his life and has been a Hutchinson resident since 2008. He is active in the community as a member of the First United Methodist Church and Young Professionals of Reno County. He serves on the Board of Directors at the Cosmosphere - International SciEd Center and Space Museum, and the Board of Trustees for the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation . He is a former member of the Public Policy Advisory Committee at the Reno County Chamber of Commerce and the former treasurer of Young Professionals of Reno County. He enjoys spending his free time with family (wife Sheena and daughter Shaylee), reading, golfing, and hunting.

Shawn is registered for securities and licensed to sell insurance and annuity products in KS, MO & WY.
